Who is responsible

Mon Pro Education is the data controller. Contact us at privacy@monproeducation.co.uk. Our business address will be published before sales open.

What we use

We use a parent’s account and contact details; a student’s first name, year group and school; paper answers, marks, reports and learning progress; class bookings; support messages; and payment references. Stripe receives payment-card details—MonPro does not store full card numbers.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide the account and teaching service, mark papers, make recommendations, manage classes and payments, keep the service secure, meet legal duties and respond to safeguarding concerns. Our legal bases are normally contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation and, where specifically requested, consent.

Children and recordings

MonPro uses the minimum student information needed. Cameras and microphones are optional in online classes. A parent can grant or revoke standing recording permission for each child. While the current permission is active, that linked student can choose and book their own class place; each booking records the notice version and when the parent accepted it. We do not use children’s information for behavioural advertising.

Who helps us run MonPro

Approved providers may host the website, database and private files, deliver email, process payments and report technical errors. They may only process data for MonPro’s instructions and are reviewed before production use.

Retention and your rights

We keep information only while it is needed for the teaching service, safety, disputes and financial records, then delete or anonymise it under our retention schedule. Parents and eligible students can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
